Re your comment: "Islam" literally means "Peace"

Your translation is wrong.

The word "ISLAM" means SUBMISSION to the will of Allah as revealed to Prophet Muhammed by the angel Gabriel (gibril). It does not mean peace. Asalaamu Alaikum means peace be with you.
