20% of Israel's population is Arabs. Some of them (very few) are sincerely loyal. Unfortunately, most of them have a "split" personality: they enjoy and appreciate the Israeli standard of living but cannot get rid of their primordial hatred and envy towards the Jews. Additionally, about 5% of Israel's population belongs to a suicidally inclined, lunatic radical left. I believe this explains your observation.
