Reader comment on item: Israel's Unnecessary War

Submitted by John Loth (United States), Jul 18, 2006 at 13:11

First paragraph of this article seemingly has two contradictory statements: 1. Israel's enemies are entirely to blame for the current fighting. 2. Israel is entirely responsible for this unnecessary war. Huh? Suggest minor repairs to an otherwise interesting article by Mr. Pipes.

Daniel Pipes replies:

1. Israel's enemies bear total moral responsibility. 2. Israel made many errors, thus landing itself in the situation whereby its enemies attacked it.
