Reader comment on item: Israel's Unnecessary War in Lebanon

Submitted by linda (United States), Jul 18, 2006 at 12:21

As American news media paint their faces in fake concern and give President Bush's use of the word "sh%$" an equal amount of concern as they give to Islamic fundamentalist behavior, Israel is doing the world a huge favor for standing up to these "pathetic" bullies.

Yeah, it's as simple as that. Bullies who squander a potentially beautiful life for acting like the loser bully. Let's make sure they do in fact end up the losers. And forget about the peace talk. I actually heard someone playing John Lennon's "Imagine" in relation to this, which is melodic but has absolutely ridiculous lyrics. I'd like to imagine no Hezbollah, no Hamas, no al Qaeda, no Lashkar e Taiba, no Madeline Albright....I wonder if anyone can, except Israel and the U.S., and a few other countries. It's time for a showdown with Iran.
