Israel's Unnecessary War

It seems, Israel who is too used to count on it's armour and airforce along with USA's unqualified support is trapped in a war of it's making. For the first time, Israeli cities are being hit. America is trapped in it's war's in Afghanistan and Iraq and cannot afford to open another front and is blaming Syria and Iran. How real is that? Iran does not seem to be ready to accomodate the West on the dates of giving the reply and the ... President in Washington should accept that instead of imposing time limits of his making which were net there in the initial offer. wait until August 22 for Iran's reply and then act.

Israel at this point is very much on its own and this makes the playing field nearly level. To take out people who are not armed with anything more than grenades and machineguns is easy. Now the palestinians and their allies have other weapons besides these and suicide bombers. They have short range missilies. This should show the extent of the anger and the polarisation in the Palestinian and the Arab world. For seven days and counting, they are hitting Israeli cities and martial law has been declared in Haifa.

All the ... Resolutions about pushing the Hibzullah out of South Lebanon seem to be stupid at best and show a frame of mind that the West traditionally had. First off, Hizbullah and its leaders are Lebanese citizens. How is it proposed to relocate them or make them refugees in their own country to accomodate the mandrins in the West? Secondly Hizbullah are members of the Lebanese parliament and not an alien body. To say they are not representative of the Lebanese people is off the mark and displays ignorance.

It is time the World especially the West get real. Your policies have brought about a radicalisation. Call the terrorists or Islamists. The Middle East has been radicalised. The Al-Qaeda, Hizbullah and the Hamas still have a following, two of the three are in the parliaments of their countries.

It is time to take a good look at what the West's policies have done. The Orphans of hate are here now and they have little to lose. This is what makes them frightening and dangerous. Seven days of raining rockets on Israeli territory is a first. It is time to listen to these orphans of hate before they start going overboard.

Israel can live. Israel has human beings that inhabit it and not aliens. But can Israel live on terms that are not of its choice and require a spirit of accomodation? this is what the present conflict is about.
