Reader comment on item: Israel's Unnecessary War in Lebanon

Submitted by Jay Van Camp (United States), Jul 21, 2006 at 16:55

I am an ex-U.S. Navy pilot. When the 6 day war started, though not a Jew, I was prepared to offer my services to Israel. I was enough of a student of history to know that Islam must be stopped. Now, entirely disgusted with the stupidity of Israel's appeasement of the Muslims over the last several years, I wouldn't help, even if still able to do so.

Besides, we have our own problems here in the U.S. with over 1,000 mosques and more than 100 universities cranking out future terrorists.

One all-American type young man, a convert to Islam, tried to enter a football stadium at the University of Oklahoma, with a home-made bomb last year, but was turned back by a security guard wanting to check his backpack. He then blew himself up outside on a bench. The University and F.B.I. hurriedly reassured the public that the kid had no ties to any terrorist organizations. Of course, he did, the terrorist organization is Islam, as represented through his local mosque!

And now, the California school system intends to teach Islam in their school system. By coincidence, the persons overlooking the writing of the text book are Muslims!

Disgustedly, Jay
