Your comments are on target about our projection problem. We assume like those before us that thought Hitler, Wilhelm, Kruschev, Lenin and the rest were looking out for the greater good of their peoples. We were wrong then and those who think this way are wrong now. Notice that Hamas, Hizbollah and the other child targeting terrorists always beg for a truce- not an end to hostilities- so they can regroup and rebuild.

We did this with N. Korea back in the 50's and look where we are at with that nation.
