Hey Mr. Pipes,

After a quick look at the responses to your article, I found your audience a bit blood thirsty. Give me a break! Would any of these hawks want to join Israel's forces on the border? Would they take up arms and fight the Islamic fascists they see behind every boulder in southern Lebanon?

Hey out there! Let's remain rational in our rhetoric. If you're willing to take up a weapon and stand a post, by all means be as hawkish as you like.

On the other hand, if you are unwilling to participate physically in the immediate struggle in southern Lebanon, let's turn down the volume and discuss a realistic path that Israel can take under the current conditions. ...
