Glaring truths

Reader comment on item: Israel's Unnecessary War in Lebanon

Submitted by Dave Goodwin (United States), Jul 18, 2006 at 12:16

This article ---- so obvious that it is embarassing to admit its glaring truths were ignored --- should be circulated everywhere in the free world, especially among government and military decision-makers. I would add clearly what it implies: when the free world at last reaches a breaking point of coddling terrorists and suffering the results --- I hope that point is right now --- then it should (along with Israel) destroy the terrorist weaponry and the supporting infrastructure, all-out and full blast.....despite oil blackmail. Further, it should dictate --- not negotiate --- that the oil riches of terrorist-supportng nations be used to compensate the free world for all the damages caused by Muslim terrorism .

If we don't do all this now, we will have to do it later (assuming we survive accelerated Muslim terrorism) at a much greater price in terms of human casualties and economic disasters.

Time works in favor of the terrrorists. They are much more dedicated to total victory than the free world (with the exception of Israel, which recognizes that it has no choice; we also have no choice but are slow to recognize it). We must strike mortal blows against terrorism now or suffer greatly --- perhaps fatally ---tomorrow.
