Make it worth the Muslims time to back way off

Reader comment on item: Israel's Unnecessary War in Lebanon

Can an Irish Christian cowboy put his two cents worth in here.

For a long time I have watched the Middle East. I never understood the need for religions to slam one another, even as a kid. My dad had pictures he took as part of a medical team on one of the German death camps, pictures I will never forget.

Israel has done what no Arab thought to do. They converted the desert into a paradise. They offered their hand in peace to the Palestinians and were slapped numerous times by them and the rest of the Arab world. It is time for them to now lay down the law to their neighbors. Enough is enough.

My suggestion would be, on the floor of the ineffective, irrelevant UN General Assembly, detail a warning that all Israelis will be returned to Israel immediately. After day one with no return, Tehran should disappear from the face of the earth if the kidnapees do not appear. After day two, without returnees, Damascus should no longer exist. After day three I would see Medina go up in smoke. Day four would find no Mecca on any map of this globe.

Until Israel shows more seriousness about their security nothing more can be expected of the terrorists organizations and their sponsoring countries. Like I said...enough is enough.
