Rice and Kissinger

Reader comment on item: Deterring Tehran

Submitted by Harrak (Canada), May 21, 2006 at 13:26

Henry Kissinger asks the US admin to open direct dialogue with Teheran and Condoleza Rice refuses. (as if she is more experienced)..This is what happens to important scholars , generals and diplomates in the US. They are just ignored. Look at this ones I have qualified as key points that could save the US face in Iraq and with Iran:

1- Dr Pipes: he suggests the redepolyment of US armies in the desert. I say that the benifit of that will be: a- less or no casualties in US troups b- that will discredit the conspiracy theory that US troops train and deploy terrorists c- that will discredit the theory sayying the USA refuses to let the Iraqi government apply strict security policies and therefore has an interest in instability in Iraq.

2- Henry Kissinger: Open negociation tunnels with Iran and use quite diplomacy to absorb Iran and offer Iranians with an attractive incentive of way of life to revolt. In fact this administration has given all the incentives possible that promote anti-Americanism (From Guantanamo to Abu Grayb to secret detention centres to..to..to..). They tell the people in the middle east : we are savage cow boys, do not dear to trust us and rally behind your Mullahs.

3- Many retired generals call for the resignation of Mr Rumsfeld. This guy is illeterrate, sick and suffer the complex of military stress and the complex of failure in previous combat missions. He let the go to war without planning. I gualify Jankess Khan and Holako (during mongol invasion of Iraq) to be way more intelligent than the 2003 Donald Ramsfield.

1, 2 and 3 are just examples of smart calls from within the US that the administration did not even consider for debate. Nevermind impelementation. An administration like this is rogue, boastful and immature.

If only the advice is receivable by some people! but Arabs say: (Laa hayaata liman tunaadii) meaning, the one you call on has no life...
