Reader comment on item: Deterring Tehran

I do agree with Dr Pipes on his article but there is some things that leaves me perplexed.

1st: What does Brazil & South Africa has to do with Iran? If peaceful Christian nation like Brazil & S.Africa cannot acquire nuclear warheads, so why does the USA & Israel have them? Is Brazil or S-Africa to be blame for Hiroshima & Nagasaki, as far as I know, only the USA ever had the chance to exercise its "rights" to drop nuclear bombs on civilians, should we give Iran its one time chance? Sorry Dr Pipes but I just don't understand why bring Brazil & S.Africa into this mess when you could have picked up on threating nations like Sudan & Indonesia that is discussing nuclear ambitions with Iran.

2nd: Why do we have to care about Muslim sentiments? Are they a class of people above all other humans? Why not care about Buddhists sentiments when dealing with Myanmar & N.Korea? The Muslim world & people have a grudge against the west because we are infidels and there is nothing that we could ever do to apease their sentiments. They will never accept us until we become one of them. Non-Muslims get killed, raped, tortured, rob, humaliated, etc on an daily basis by Muslims for the sole reason of being a non-muslim. Are we gonna change our policy of not negotiating with terrorists, because that is just what you are suggesting Dr Pipes.
