Letter to Mr Roth Writer to Daniel Pipes Website:

For some time now, I have been thinking, how one can justify the incredible political incorrectness that exists in the literary arena of your writing - which are constantly debated, especially around this particuilar political writing and amongests those who read same. Many questions remain unanswered. Those have prompted me to discuss some of the contradictions and questions, in the hopes that it might bring about an opportunity to redress them, by that I mean get you to surrender your infidel way of thinking and convert to mine and be more politically correct, like Me (Peace Be Upon Me).

bla...bla...bla..for another 18 pages or so. A.K.A. Ahmadinejad's Letter to Bush

Then William J Kole, writer for the Associated Press does a piece entitled "Why Won't U.S., Iran Hash Out Differences? He adds, "Experts say that a meeting between Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and President Bush would seem an obvious follow-up to Ahmadinejad's letter to Bush this week." If you want the naive to take what your about to say seriously, you begin ta sentence with "Experts say..." (The reading audience gasps and prepares for an oracle.)

To answer, sir, your original question: "Are we so short-sighted that we have forgotten the well-documented run-up to WW II? " You can make book on it that we are.
