European dilemma

Reader comment on item: Deterring Tehran
in response to reader comment: We gave in to Iran long ago

Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), May 20, 2006 at 17:00

As a European, I don't understand why we are so pro-Iranian. I will never understand why we have always to be pro-Muslim. I, myself, vote for a social-democrat European party. But. Euro-socialism cannot be the problem. It is part of the problem, but there must be much more. This is one the dilemmas of human life: why are Europeans pro-Iranian/ Muslim? It is a bit like asking why the Americans are pro-Mexican. Life is strange.
