Not surprised

Reader comment on item: Jihad and the Professors
in response to reader comment: Three Islamic websites worth checking

I am not surprised as we are now 4 1/2 years post 9-11 that people just aren't getting it. From the very beginning when the world went to worshipping one God their has been a constant struggle. There have been more people KILLED in the name of GOD than all the wars, natural diasater's, and diseases combined.

I am not saying go back to worshipping many Gods. What I am saying is that the West is having a hard time believing a religion that shows up 600 years after the death of Jesus. And it just isn't Islam that gets an raised brow. From the Jesus freaks of the 60's to Waco, all were looked at as being a bit "off".

So let me get this straight. Christians...Islamic fundamentalist can continue to kill innocent men, women, and children and you still say...love thy neighbor. Islamic fundamentalist's...you say if I die for or in the name of Islam and Allah I am rewarded with 72 virgins..

This struggle or war on terrorism will continue until people no longer exist on this planet. There is no way that there will ever be peace in the Middle East. The extremists just don't want it. So settle in, live your life to the fullest...you never know if that shop, mall, or park is the next target of Islamic extremist.
