Clueless?

Reader comment on item: Jihad and the Professors

The secret societies like the Masons try to look like Christian organizations. Most of those in the lower degrees believe they belong to an organization that is compatable with Christianity and western beliefs. It is only in the higher degrees that Masons learn what the true masonic beliefs and goals are. The Masons are Islamic, and not Christian or western.

Could this be the same with the Moslems? Are some allowed to believe their religion is loving and peaceful, but they are really just a public front being used by the religious leaders to temporarily spread disinformation? This way they would be allowed to move large numbers of Moslems into unsuspectiing areas until they had enough Moslems to start their true jihaid. When that happened the moderate Moslems would be forced to join the true Moslems or be killed as infidels. Those trying to claim the religion is something it is not, are just useful clueless believers .

It looks to me like this is exactly what they have done. Helped along by our own egotistical beliefs that we can absorb everyone and any culture, and with enough of our understanding and sympathy, they will be compatable with the rest of us.

Thank you, Danial Pipes, for your excellent articles.
