What is war, other than two opposing forces slaughtering one another because they feel they are right & that the other is wrong? I don't claim to know the truth, but I do know that with any war comes the blood shed of the innocent.

This war continues strong after six years because revenge is deep in everyones veins. It remindes me of the movie "The war of the Roses" Mr & Mrs Rose seek a divorce and throughout the movie they fight about everything - the anger snowballs -they destroy each others beautiful belongings and their home out of spite - and the need for revenge builds .....until they basically kill each other. Though it was indirectly, their intentions were the same - make the other one suffer.

When it comes to Bush and the opposing forces neither one of them feel their actions are wrong. They feel that through war (by killing one other) they are getting their point across. And if the innocent die as a result of this - well that is what we call "Collateral Damage". It saddens me that this is acceptable in many cases.

Now I'd like to clarify that I don't feel the goal of our government is to go out there shooting up whomever they feel like it. The innocent is not their target, nor do I feel that the goal of these opposing forces is to shed the blood of the innocent on our soil. However, I do feel that if you know that doing something will kill innocents, and you do it anyway, you cannot exempt yourself from responsibility. The ends do not justify the means.

Here we must ask ourselves...at what cost does our revenge become fufilled? How much will we lose?

When our hearts are so full of revenge and hate. How can there ever be peace?
