Beauty is in the eye of the beholderReader comment on item: Jihad and the Professors Submitted by DN (United Kingdom), Nov 4, 2002 at 11:25 Academic bickering about the definition of "Jihad" proves that there can not be a consensus of opinion about certain verbs, adverbs and adjectives. "Beauty" is in the eye of the beholder as is "Jihad" in the deeds of the believer. The perpetrators of 9/11, their followers and paymasters have defined very succinctly their meaning of "Jihad" which supersedes all other definitions or interpretations.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
