Mr. Yasin tells the truth...

Reader comment on item: Jihad and the Professors

Submitted by Jim Stanley (United States), Nov 2, 2002 at 14:26

Mr. Yasin tells the truth when he says; "in the Muslim tradition, jihad represents a struggle to do the right thing." The "right thing" of course is to "make the Word of God (Allah) triumph everywhere in the world."

The reason moderate Muslims cannot speak out against Islamic terrorism is because they cannot, in good conscience, oppose the intended end result.

Having lived in Saudi Arabia for four years, I know the meaning to the word "dhimmi," ("the Islamic term for a Christian or Jew living under Muslim rule who is tolerated so long as he bends the knee and accepts Islam's superiority.")

Thanks for penetrating the fog of political correctness.
