Response to Paul's Aug 12 2005 question

Paul, you are asking Jihadists to "attack our government"? This is treason. George Bush DOES speak for the American people whether you like that or not. We elected him to do so. The American people, through the polls of November 2, 2004, decided that we will continue the fight against a ruthless and brutal enemy that declared war on our country long before September 11. You may not agree with it, but enough of your fellow citizens do that they've decided to give George Bush four more years to get that job done. He speaks for us and we gave him that voice. This is called democracy. I, along with over 58 million other Americans, understand the big picture of what is happening in this world, the reality of Islamic Jihadists, and the wisdom of our course of action. You call yourself "ëducated."? You apparently don't even understand the form of government in which you live, much less the threat that confronts our nation's very existance. Asking Jihadists to attack out government IS asking them to attack the American people. WE are the government, as Lincoln said, of the people, by the people, for the people. This is Government 101 at your local community college.
