You question Dr. Pipes' interpretation of the real meaning of jihad yet you write,

"In Islam it was used as the faithful who put all their efforts in achieving the objective of Islam, that is fighting the nonbelievers and not resting unless achieving victory of expending the Words of Allah to all parts of the world."

What exactly do you think the intentions of these "faithful" are toward those who do not believe and convert? Exactly what happens to non Muslims in Muslim countries?
