in response to reader comment: Why is Indonesia over 90% Muslim?

Well, basically your response lacks facts and its just a typical blown up reaction by a Hindu to Muslems in general and Pakistanis in particular. Its nice to see the new generation of Hindus making the same old mistakes...

The riots in UK were actually drawn on racial lines and not religious ones. There has always been a tension between the Whites and the Asians in the poor regions of North England. The hindus, whom I suppose have never fought and were always ruled by almost everyone, did not do anything and followed the same path like their predecessors.

I recall a quote from a colleague of mine from Scotland who was recently on a visit to Pakistan and India.

"In India, the locals from every region and religion, talked to me with their heads down. I wondered why they still have to act as slaves when they are actually independent.

It was only when I crossed over to Pakistan, that i felt like at home. People first looked into my eyes and then replied to my questions. It then struck to me that probably religion was never the cause of the partition. The Pathans, Baluchis, Sindhis, Kashmiris and even Punjabis residing in Pakistan are a very proud nation..And they deserve to be! "
