Hi Ifrahim,

Actually you got it reversed my friend.

>>

Name of the Creator has been changed to Allah, in Quran

Name of Abraham has been changed to Abrahim, in Quran

Name of John the Baptist has been changed to Yahaya, in Quran

<<

Actually it is the reverse. The english bible changed the names from the original Hebrew/Aramaic names which are the names in the Qur'an. That is fine because it is talking about the same people that is in hebrew/aramaic. The same is true for the Qur'an. The only one that is different from the Hebrew/Aramaic is Yeshua/Jesus which in Qur'an is Isa. At any rate. I think that the names don't mean as much as the intention and the intention is that we are referring to the same thing. Every people have a different name or way of pronouncing the names for the same thing. Even in spanish they pronounce Jesus differently but with the same spelling. It is hard for english speakers to pronounce Hebrew/Aramaic/Arabic so that is why you got the names such as Abraham instead of Ibrahim etc... Also, the word Allah is for al-ilah the God. English uses the german word for ilah which is Gott and in english God. We are talking about the same thing. In hebrew ilah and ilahim is the name for God and you will also find different names for the almighty just like Qur'an based on his attributes such as the almighty, the most gracious, the most merciful, etc... All of the beautiful names belong to him.

As for your reply on the pre-Islamic pagan rituals. That is true that the rituals are the same however they were originally the same rituals performed and dedicated to the one God of Adam, Moses, Abraham, and Jesus but as time went by began to be used for idols. Muhammad cleansed and brought back the purity and worship in the one God so the rituals were rededicated to him.

may God continue to bless and guide you,

peace
