Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?
in response to reader comment: WEST SHOULD REPEAL ISLAM'S 'RELIGION' STATUS

Where does one go to get a religion certified, or decertified? Is it not academia and the other "Abrahamic" religions that recognize "ISLAM" as a religion? If the Vatican and the major Jewish groups simply said that the Islam, as currentkly constituted, cannot be accaepted as a bona fide religion? Whats so hard about that? Is it because the Christians and the Jews are too enmeshed in the third "Abrahamic " religion and cannot reject it? Most sane people have rejected Islam, as we have come to know it , as a religion. Only those with a penchant for useless intellectual exercise see any redeeming value in this hate filled belief system.
