Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?

We will never get out of this debate between a so-called radical islam and a so-called moderate islam.

Would you say that radical nazism is the problem and moderate nazism is the solution? Would you say that radical communism is the problem and moderate communism is the solution? I don't think so.

So, why talk like this with islam? Islam is, to my mind, a sort of communism with faith, that's why it has lasted for 14 centuries. Nothing more than a perfectly conceived totalitarian state. Remember the last line of 1984 from Georges Orwell: "He loved BIG BROTHER".
