Please explain..

could you please elaborate on the connection between Muhammed and Abraham? There is no history,no mention in any texts, no prediction ,indicating some guy with an obvious mental condition, nothing. Yet all Muslims, many Jews and Christians claim some linkage of Muhammed and Abraham. I know the mythology of Abraham, Issac,and Ishmael, and that nonsense, but where is the Muhammed connection? And if "Islam" is of Abrahamic origin, then the Jews and Christians are responsible for dealing with "Islam" and with the horrific misery so called it has caused humanity. It really seems that Muhammed just some made up mythology to advance his political agenda, because there is not much religion but a lot of political ideology.
