We have higher morals...

Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?

Submitted by Yoven (United States), Aug 31, 2007 at 15:43

Hello Dr Pipes & readers,

I am kind of ambivalent about the idea of banning Islam. As good as it sounds, I know deep inside that it is morally wrong. Free people of earth, we have come to an age of understanding that surpasses all of what of predecessors ever achieved. We have evolve in so many ways, medical field, space, naval, IT, etc…

We cannot let Islam or Islamism destroy our ability to think clearly. We cannot stoop down to the level of barbarity that Islamism has to offer us. We are now on the defensive vis a vis the Mohammedans, our ability to detect terror is tremendously greater than any suicide bombers put together. With all the free people of this earth mosaic faith systems, peace will prevail over carnage, freedom will prevail over slavery of expression.

When a baby is born, he or she doesn't have a choice in what religious house to be brought upon. Us, as free people have to make sure that the barbarism that exist in Islamism doesn't annihilate that individual. Violence should not be taught in any schools, what's next? MBA in suicide attacks? We cannot fix Islam for Muslims; they have to do themselves on their own time and essence. However, we could eradicate terrorism and destroy any government that harbors terrorism (mental and physical terrorism). We have to make sure that the seeds of today don't reap deadly atoms of future generations.

Saudi Arabia bans all religions except Wahhabi Islam, well we cannot be as low minded as them and ban Islam. We have to au contraire change their mind status to reflect OUR new tolerant day of age. We have to impose our way of life on them and not the other way around. We cannot destroy the cult of Islamism or any evil cult out there by mass genocidal ways. The Hitler's day are over and let him rot in his grave or hell, we are better human beings, lawful human beings and we can achieve worldwide basic human rights, we cannot achieve this goal by utilizing the Islamic doctrines, we will succeed by teaching believers of Islamism how to live a good life, a honest life, a peaceful life, a life of real brotherly love, a life that has so much to offer other than Jihad and suicide bombing.

This utopian view of this world cannot be achieved in one day, in the mean time, we should ban all Islamic immigration until their religion or cult is modified to accommodate basic humans in their lands. Mosques should be scrutinized; Islamic schools should be banned, all preachers of violence should be incarcerated or deported, all hijabs should be banned and all supporters of terror should be incarcerated or deported.

To all free people of this world, let's unite and help the helpless. Islamists or Muslims are not bad people; they are just misguided people that have been brainwashed to believe in world dominance and supremacy.
