Why banning Chistianity?

in response to reader comment: Shall we ban Judaism and Christianity as well?

Hy Meghan, :)

Well I wish to clarify a few things with you. First of all The New Testament NEVER-not in one single place- preaches violence. It talks about the violence early Christians had to face from the pagans: torture, killing, thrown in jails because of their faith. How could the New Testament preach violence when Jesus told us to love our enemy? I am not going to discuss IF those who called themselves Christians during history applied this command. What I am saying here is what Christian faith stands for.

Then I ask you: Why should The U.S. ban Christianity? We are talking about a country that was founded on Christian values one of which is freedom of conscience. Freedom which you so happily rejoice in right now. Why should the U.S ban Christianity or any other religion, did Christians threatened to kill you if you don't convert to Christianity? In Muslim countries Christians are being killed for their faith!!!! And they don't reply with violence. Christianity is banned in Muslim countries.

All this stuff with Islam being a threat to the free world started after 9.11. Till then Americans had no idea of what Islam truly stud for. Americans opened their arms and welcomed Muslims into their country only to find themselves blown up by some of them. How can anyone defend such a faith? I am sure they are not all the same but, in the end is what they teach- to kill if one does not comply. That's my problem. Christianity teaches forgiveness, love, fairness, hope, kindness. And I say to you if a faith which teaches the things that Christianity does ended up doing so many mistakes during history, What will a faith that teaches to kill the "unbelievers", teaches you hate end up doing? Do you see my point? If you are going to say that not all Christians applied all the things I mentioned above. You are right. Not all of us do because We are free to apply them or not its our choice in the end. But we have A CHOICE that's the main thing. This is what God wanted in the end. He wanted people to freely accept Him or freely reject Him.

And one thing more, if muslims don't like America, Why do they live there? If America is so "bad" why don't they go to Irak? Tell you why they receive more respect there than in their own countries. I wish they consider this more.
