Dear Sir/Ms

Passive Muslims are oppurtunistic Muslims who would like to enjoy the benefits offered by the modern world like science, technology, human rights, etc without pressing too much for sharia themselves, but depending upon circumstances practice sharia at personal level.

Active muslims are idealist Muslims who would like to bring sharia all over the world and to them things like human rights, science, technology, etc are only means to an end and will be kicked out as soon as sharia is achieved. Their ideal figure is Prophet Mohammed who had his critics assasinated, plundered, broke treaties, ordered pogrom of Jews and waded through blood for much of his career.
