how following a code of honor can be the weakness they exploit

Yoven I agree with you that the actual Muslim individuals are not our enemies. Many have responded to barbarism with barbarism and that is wrong. We must not lose sight of our common humanity and overlook how many can be misguided, especially in communities/families that do not allow exposure to other ideolgies or even doubt. Christianity is one of the only monotheistic religion that does not make unbelievers the "enemy" "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forced of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Eph. 6:12-13

Yet on the other side of this, Islamism has created an entirely new type of enemy, that can use the freedoms, kindness, forgiving side, naivete etc. Westerners have embraced... For example, Muslims in the West have transformed and embraced the Western conception of freedom of religion and used it as a cover for free reign amongst their own members, even sometimes going against the national law of the state in which they live. They charge discrimination/prejudice if they even perceive an ounce of suspicion and are not given free reign in all they do, yet foreigners in any of their own countries could never for a moment escape severity of treatment

Internationally, if one country observes the restrictions of a treaty and the other does not, the latter country will have a strong advantage... In the West, we follow many more rules, are under much more supervision, are limited by bureacracies, criticised by the press, have our mistakes headlined etc. and the Muslim radical actors remain a merciless, governless, unsupervised, disunified and scattered collection of bandits with no loyalty to anyone... They do not associate to a specific government so all governments throw their hands up in the air and no one can hold any of them responsible

We will not have much choice but to play the game differently with such a new and strange enemy...
