Why negative perspective towards Islam?

Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?

Submitted by Hammad AlQadri (Pakistan), Oct 24, 2007 at 17:24

The people who always want to have negative perspective towards Islam on the basis of their shallow knowledge about Islam & their courage to show Islam & Islamic personalities, including Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), (Ma'azAllah) as uncivilized people & their practices as barbarian & inhuman, it should be beneficial for them to read Michael Hart's (A Jewish American & a university professor) book "The 100" about 100 most influential people of the world. He(Hart) Placed Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him) on first number & His(Peace Be Upon Him)'s second Caliph Umar Ibn Al Khattab(RadiAllahu Ta'ala Anhu) on 52nd number. Should it not be enough for the people to change their unjust vision towards Islam who always want to stick to it.
