Meghan,

In the Bible, the Jews were instructed by GOD to make war on specific people (e.g. Canaanites) at a specific time (more than 2500 years ago). In the Koran, Muslims are instructed to make war on Jews and Christians in the future. This is not equivalent.

It is legitimate to consider the actions of the adherents, but what is more important is to study the actions of the founders, i.e. What would the Buddha do in a given situation? Is that how he instructed his followers?
