Since all Muslims profess that Quran is a word of God, it would be an disobediance not to follow its path, would it not?

8.12 ....I will cast terror in to the harts of those who do not believe. Therefore strike off their heads, and strike off every fingertip of them!

That is just one of many instances violence against the nonbelievers in Quran. Problem is that since Quran for Muslim is word of God, you, believers follow it to the letter.

Bible has also passages of violence, but Christians have long ago moved on, while Muslims are still stuck in 620 AD.

Compare the Christ in white robe and sandals talking to people about his religion and dying for it on the cross with that of Mohamed on a horse with head of a women, fully dressed as a warrier with a sword in his hand preaching his religion.
