I suffer no illusions

Reader comment on item: "Death to America"
in response to reader comment: if you are suffering from delusions...contact a local muslim imam immediately

Twisting words is a trait employed by all people, not just those in the west. Everyone does it to their own advantage; lawyers, politicians, business people, clerics and terrorists. You feel that what you believe is true. So do I. Nothing will change this.

My last response may have seemed desperate because it was edited by the people who run this website, and it is their right to do so. My words to you were less than cordial. I will be polite this time.

You write as if you know all, or at least most, of what Islam really is; about how kind and merciful it is. I wish to pose questions to you for clarification purposes. Who better to ask these questions to than a proud, learned Muslim like yourself. If you would be so kind as to answer them truthfully, sincerely, and without the use of your rapier wit, maybe I could better understand why you defend Islam so heartily.

1. Is it true that the Koran says, "If you pray to the Trinity, then your abode will be fire?" If it does, please explain it.

2. Is it true that the Koran says' "If you are friend to the Christian or the Jew, then you are one also?" If this is true, no explanation is necessary.

3. Please explain why Islam chose the medium of world competition during the Munich Olympics to show everyone that they were more than willing to slaughter innocent young lives (none of whom were armed) and were unafraid to die themselves for whatever cause they represented.

4. Can you explain why Islam boarded the ocean liner Achille Laural filled with tourists (none of whom were armed) and pushed a handicapped old man overboard, wheel chair and all?

5. Can you explain why Islam hi-jacked jet liner after jet liner years ago, terrorizing innocent people?

6. Please explain why Islam executed unarmed Israeli tourists in Palestine and elsewhere in the Middle East.

7. Please explain why eighteen Saudis and one Egyptian flew four jet liners into American landmarks, killing 3,000 people at once. I would also like to know why the Palestinians, after hearing this, began to dance in the streets.

8. Can you explain why a powerful Sunni leader felt righteous in murdering thousands of Shi'ites within the boundaries of his own country?

9. Can you explain why the leader of the largest Muslim country in the Middle East thinks it's appropriate to say that the world would be better off if Israel was wiped off the face of the Earth, and at the same time, denying that the Haulocaust ever happened?

You don't have to be a lawyer to know these facts. They're documented in newspapers all over the world, including Al-Jazzera.

I don't know the answers to the first two questions. Those are for you to answer truthfully. But it is because of the facts stated in the other seven questions that the rage in my heart burns so fiercely. If you cannot understand this, then it it a waste of time communicating with you.

Explain these questions to me, honestly and truthfully, and I promise you, I will dig deep into the facts of the beginnings of Islam.

Please remember one thing about me; I am never deserate. I am a focused individual who knows what he says and speaks his words exactly the way he wants them spoken, always.
