Counting carefully

Although I use my employer's email system, this is not the comment of my employer.

While I generally agree with your views as to the world situation and the origins of terrorism and the war thereon, I am uncomfortable with including the October 1999 EgyptAir crash on the list. I believe that it is far from clear that it was an act of terror or murder directed against America or the West versus a sick suicide, and that we would do better not to count it in these totals.

Meanwhile acts such as the Achille Lauro ship-jacking, the Lod and Rome Airport shootings and many other incidents should certainly count.
