USS Stark attack not a mistakeReader comment on item: "Death to America" Submitted by Tom Becker (United States), Mar 15, 2003 at 22:29 The attack on the USS Stark in 1987 was not a mistake, it was a test that the USA failed.I was there and I know that the USA could have done something about Iraq then, when they were a problem. Our ...president Reagan let it slide. A lot of stuff happened over there during the 6 months I was there. But very little of it ever made the news.
