200 years of history, and we still can't figure it out.

Are you serious?! You wrote this in 2006?! No wonder we are having such trouble with peace when the people who choose to educate themselves can't even try to understand. If we are going to send the Muslims out of countries known for their diversity, we might as well send back everyone who isn't of pure native descent. (not to mention what they are going back to. If they wanted to live there, they wouldn't have moved here)

Think about it. Think about what this country was founded on. It was founded on the deaths of innocent people and their culture who were trying to live their lives in their country. Turn the mirror onto yourself. Until we have understanding and compassion we'll never have peace. You need to step back and be the bigger man instead of the instigator. Stop saying "It was his fault," or "but he did it first," and say "Now I am going to solve it in a mature way that will benefit everyone equally and work for the long term, not just so that I won't have to see the problem."

Do you honestly believe that sending people back is going to help anyone? Even the people you wish to get rid of? If we were killing natives in the 1700's and you have forgotten about that, then you might want to overlook history of 200 years ago when discussing the present unless it is relevant and shows a path to the future. There is no future in hatred.
