Wow! A true historian! Allow me to tell you what I know about commerce and seafarers. Everyone bought and sold goods to and from everyone else. Tax was paid for the goods only. Charging taxes to allow a ship to pass through another nation's waters was called piracy.

As far as debauchery of women was concerned, most sailors ended up in bars where women of less than proper character worked. It's called prostitution. It was common, even within the realm of Islam. Please don't think the women of Islam were something special to sailors.

And your Muhammad (who knows nothing about peace) could not have been as godly as you say if he was in the business of collecting taxes. Muhammad (who knows nothing about peace) was not the first to practice monotheism. Did you ever hear of Abraham, who prayed fervently to the "One True God" on an hourly basis? He around long before your prophet (who knows nothing about peace). Islam is about 1400 years old. Christianity is about 2000 years old Judaism is well over 3000 years old. So, if you think about it, Muhammad (who knows nothing about peace) is the new kid on the block. Maybe you should read your history again, and never , ever, call me your brother.

Contributions of the prophet? I would say they were more like plagues. There's been nothing but civil wars between the Muslim factions ever since Islam was started. Is this really what Muhammad (who will never know peace) wanted for his people?
