Why are we on top then?

Not all Americans are stupid. Okay I admit that Paris Hilton ect. are really blond but many briliant people live in America. Many people come to America for freedom of speech, writing ect. because unlike most countries, Americans are open to new ideas. So what, we like our stars. They're the perfect examples of the American dream (dream meaning it's just a wish, not what every American lives like). Americans just want to be happy and live in peace. We hate war and respect human life. Oh, and one question: If America was a country full of brainless idiots than how can you explain the fact that America is one of the, if not the, most powerful countries in the world?
