You're not a racist.

Elle, you're not a racist. They are actually punishing you for not being politically correct. But being politically correct is not a good thing either. You still have the right to freedom of speech. We're told that speaking our minds will not be tolerated because it might offend someone. People are offended every day. They have to learn to deal with it.

I don't know how old you are, but I think it would be best for now not to push authority too far on this just yet. Don't let it affect your grades. Study hard, strive to be someone important, so that when you talk, people will listen to you. After college, you can be yourself, say what you want, and do as you please. OK?
