My friend Terry Weldon was on the USS Stark. He was also my best friend's husband and they were both in the Navy at that time. They never did find him, but lots of his fellow seamen stated they saw him after the first missile and he was wounded, but they think he fell into the water. I was in Mayport for the services with his wife Christine, his parents, her parents, family and friends. Right after it happened we were at Terry's parents house waiting for news, the Navy let Christine leave the base and come back to NY. The worst part was waiting and hoping for the best, then an officer and chaplain showed up and we knew. What really bothered me was Iraq said it was an accident, they thought it was an Iranian ship and we believed it. Saddam was our "friend" back then, he was"helping" us with the Iranians. Funny how things change in the world, unfortunantly still missing my friend Terry after 20 years and that hasn't changed Jeanine
