okay a few points

1. it is unfair, illogical, and unreasonable to judge America today by what they did in the distant past.

2. a tsunami is not an act of terror. 9/11 was. huge difference. and the "few thousand people" who died were mothers, fathers, and siblings. seems a lot bigger when you think of it like that ,no?

3 if you care so much for human life, have you ever stopped to think of what would happen to the people of Iraq if America pulled out now? America, as one of the more powerful governments, has the duty to help out other people. not just Americans. if we pulled out now thousands of people would probably die in the power strugle that would insue. And then what? Iraq would probably become a dictatorship and would once again be a threat to America. Yeah, that would solve the problem.

4. I have to agree that some of the most idiotic people I have ever heard are in office. But some of them are good, sensible people. You can just give some examples and say that they are all bad.

5 I don't agree with a lot America has done, but I would still argue that, on the hole, America is a "good" country.
