Replying to the Final Chapter of the USS Stark

Shipmates, let us not ever forget deaths of the 37 dead shipmates onboard USS Stark. For me, it fuels my rage against the French and Iraqis under Chirac and Hussein. I do not believe in coincidences. If we Americans must be bombarded with "you armed the Iraqis", then so, too, should the French.

As I have said before, I was the LPO for Surgical Team One deployed to the Persian Gulf as the direct tasking from BUMED to be on station should another such infraction take place. Many Americans have already forgotten the World Trade Center, as they often do in these days of easy distraction and media blitz, but it would be offensive to forget those who stood the front line and gave their lives (all of us who were over there gave a significant chunk of our lives) to the rest of the people's freedom. I do not believe for a moment that the attack was accidental. That would be like saying the AA and UA flights just strayed off course that fateful day.

Turning a blind eye to the stockpiles of GA, GB, GD and VX gases and claiming there were no WMDs (notwithstanding those of us who were there and saw them, I suppose Joe Sixpack who has never strayed too far from the county line knows more about it since CBS, NBC, ABC, and CNN would never hide the truth) does not alter that truth. So go on with your lives and condemn those of us who went and would gladly go back. If it makes you feel better, it still doesn't make you better. We true shipmates will continue to remember and offer our services to get retribution.

Also, if President Bush should be tried for 'war crimes' then so should Jaques Chirac and others who supplied the tools to end the lives of Stark's crewmembers.
