Hello Tom,

Islam teaches me tolerance. It also demands from me to respect people's lives, faith, honor and properties.

Allah has allowed all people to choose freely whatever path right or wrong in this life but in Hereafter and in Last Day, Allah will surely punish those who chose wrong path in this world and with that Allah will surely reward those who chose right path.

Rasool comes in this world just to testify this promise of Allah with people. So when Rasool comes, people are not spared till Last Day, they are punished on this earth too if they are wrong and rewarded on this earth if they are right.

Islam says Muhammad was Rasool, therefore all those who rejected his teachings were punished on this earth and all those who followed him were rewarded on this earth. In this way, Allah testified to people through Muhammad that His promise is true.

After Muhammad, there is no Rasool. It means, no Muslim is allowed to force people to convert, kill, dishonor or deprive them from their properties.

Regards

Shakeel
