Masses of people demonstrating in the streets of Pakistan and Turkey has no effect on the current global surge in Muhammedism. These people were not demonstrating for the reform of the Muhammedian construct, simply not to enforce its dogma. Nothing is changed, at best only the status quo.

Unless the canon of Muhammedism is reformed, which is practically impossible, the message of Muhammed remains to "Submit or die". The carrier may be modulated, but the message remains the same. I would be much more opyomistic if there were masses of Americans with sigh "Close the Madrasses" "Down with Islam" and "Close hate Mosques". Freedom of speech, expressed as a clear and present danger. Islam is an alien and unacceptable ideology and incompatible with the democratic value of Western civilization. ...
