Reader comment on item: A Million Moderate Muslims on the March

Submitted by moderate Muslim numero uno (United States), May 8, 2007 at 13:47

While it is good that there are moderate Muslims, Muslims, like the wife of the Turkish candidate, should be allowed to practice Islam. Not electing someone because they choose to cover their head personally is not fair. Muslims should be allowed to make Islam their way of life as long as it does not impede anyone elses rights.

To Mr. Pipes: I rarely agree with you, because of Israel and other issues, but I would like to thank you for pointing out that there are many moderate Muslims who are not crazy extremists.
