Reader comment on item: A Million Moderate Muslims on the March
in response to reader comment: LOL, it's good to be a slave

Zero. Thank God. And if not for the passive nature of Christ; they might.

Christians also do not feel the need to vigorously defend the Patriarchs. But I wonder, is it for lack of caring?

Taking slaves is obviously out, but I'm seriuosly considering a peace march the next time I feel the name of Abraham was insulted. I will hand out water from a cooler and patiently explain why Abraham's son Isaac was the real reason to celebrate.

Now, who would take me seriously? The Muslims, who might be insulted that I've disrespected Ishmael. But here in the United States, has it reached the flash point? Not yet; so I'd end up insulting some moderate muslims who would shake their heads and move on.

But what happens when those types of Muslims come under pressure from the growing tide of extremists who eventually start with their heavy handed tactics in the United States? Will they jump ship or will they get with the program? The extremists have no tolerance for moderates; do as we do or die becomes the motivation and I'm just now sensing that some moderates are voicing dissension. So if moderate translates into "passive" (like Christians) they will be killed allong with the Christians.

So, If you aren't sure that moderate Muslims exist, don't worry. History has shown that they have a tendency not to speak out against the lies and deception for fear of retribution. They are sealing their own fate and soon none will be left to examine.

However, some may join the ranks of the Christians and inject some passion into the church. How miraculous would that be? Muslims saying,"Enough is enough, I vote for the Prince of Peace!" Then we'd see the flashpoint as well as a paradox; why would Muslims want to join up with Christians if they didn't have any regard for Abraham? What can a Christian show a Muslim as far as passion goes?

So, all you moderate Muslims; be bold and take a stand for peace, for the sake of Christ ! And for that matter, all you Christians wake up for the sake of mankind! It will take YOU praying for your enemies for them to even CONSIDER that you may have a point and see any reason to accept your gospel.
