in response to reader comment: Islam In Turkey

Dear Batur!

The anger that resides in the Western World against the fanatics is very very real I am afraid. I lost people in the terrorist attacks and it made me angry.....What made me and many others angry was the idea that it was somehow all our fault for 'offending' Islam....

Our Media, especially the BBC is very pro Moslem and serious questions are being asked by the British and American public why it is that the Media we all pay for, favours our enemies. I do not doubt that many Moslems are perhaps as horrified by the bombings and vile murders as we Christians are in the West...

There can be no excuse for murder of innocents, now or in the past. Moslems if they are to earn again the respect of their fellow humans, must speak out against the fanatics in their midst. And Moslems must also realise that we are not going to lie down and become good Moslems. To myself especially as a practising Christian it is highly offensive....I and millions of others would rather die than submit to such tyranny....

Despite appearances the West is increasingly aware of the threat and so the Moslem fanatics must realise too, that we are going to defend ourselves come what may. Things may appear calm on the surface and the fanatics kid themselves that the West, especially Europe is weak and ready to submit, due in no small part to the appeasement by our own traitorous elite in the EU.

The working men and women feel very differently of course and the anger and hatred caused by the thugs that destroyed lives arounf the world, is intense and rising. I am afraid my friend the Moslem world has a big fight on its hands!

The Turks want to enter the EU: but unless it stops killing priests and prosecuting and persecuting Christians it will never be allowed to join.

The Danish cartoons fiasco was horrendous. The disgusting riots and murder over a few paltry cartoons was the action of savages. My own faith has been ridiculed even worse than Mohammed. I even saw an effigy of the Mother of Christ made out of human faeces. I did not riot nor did anybody else!

Mohammed was but a man, yet you deify him as a god? What else can somebody be when Moslems react like this? To me Christ is God but I do not kill and burn for Him! For your information the Mohammed cartoons appeared with little comment six months before in Egypt. Later some Danish Imams thought it fun to add some more cartoons with sexual connotations never drawn by the original Danish cartoonist.

In short the Moslems have to live in the 21st Century not the year 800AD!

Salman Rushdie has been given a knighthood by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II. Pakistan and the Moslems demand its removal. One Pakistani politician and Minister of State even said suicide attacks on Britain are justified too as a response.

In Iraq our kids are killed by Moslems, only so recently freed from Saddam. And 650,000 Iraqis killed by fellow Moslems. How on earth do any of you expect us in the West to stand by and accept this slaughter?

Moslems are becoming the most despised religion and people on earth. If you want to change that then speak out against the lunatics that kill in Mohammed's name!
