Susan,

I understand that you are angry at someone, or something. You seem to be up to date with current events here in Turkey. However, what I really fail to see in your post is the solution to the problem. I am a Turk married to an Armenian. I am wondering how you can justify Ayaan Hirsi Ali's argument about the military stepping in once again to overthrow a democratically elected government. I don't quite see how an entire population can be held accountable for the actions of two lone gunmen. I find these murders to be atrocious. However. I have also know people who were locked up for voicing their opinions under other regimes. I don't quite see the point you are trying to make here. Do you actually live in Turkey ? Do you have family here, or relatives here, are you a student ? I am quite curious to know what you base your comments on. Not out of spite, but curiosity.
