Quranic quotes for Mansoor

Mansoor says, "Who says Islam is violent?" What a laughable statemant. Of all things said about Islam, the greatest craziest is that Islam is a "Religion of Peace." Peace only to each other - the ummah - but to no one else. (And even not to each other when other Muslims just aren't Muslim enough!) It's been that way for 1400 years, Mansoor, Mr. Quranic scholar.

Do you think we have no eyes to see or read with? Do you think we have not investigated Islam? Do you think we aren't aware of history or current events? There are literally hundreds of verses in the Sura and the Hadiths addressing how Muslims are to treat the "unbelievers." Saying that its a peaceful religion when your book clearly states - as Sura 49:29 says quite matter-of-factly - that Muslims are to be good to each other but "ruthless" to unbelievers, does not mean its a religion of peace.

There are 5 billion of us on this planet besides you and your ummah! A religion though just isn't about what its holy book says, but how its followers behave. I'm sure you're very proud of all the violence, terrorism, beheadings, stonings, criminal amputations, honor killings, revenge killings, etc, that come from Islam - and its history of speading Islam through the sword. (Coincidence, I suppose, that Saudi Arabia's flag is the opening verse of the Quran with a sword beneath it.)

Here's just a few little ditties from a book replete with calls to violence against unbelievers:

Sura:191 - "Slay them [infidels] wherever ye find them."

Sura 3:151 - "Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers."

Sura 8:12 - "...cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore, strike off their heads and every fingertip."

Sura 8:39 - "Fight them until there is no more persecution and religion is only for Allah." (Still at it, aren't you?)

Sura 9:5 - "...slay the idolators wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush."

Sura:123 - "O you who belive! Fight the unbelievers near you and let them find hardness in you."

And this one, Mansoor, I think sums up the attitude of Mohammed and his followers quite well:

Sura 49:29 - "Mohammed is the messenger of Allah [So says guess who?]. And those with him are ruthless against the unbelievers but merciful among themselves." How nice...and true even 1400 years later.
